Sullen Moon were formed in Wellington New Zealand in 2003 by Shane Caldwell and Kashmir Jackson who had previously played together in bands in high school, and Iris.p.love as guitarist (from 2005 onwards). previous members were Seth Jackson as drummer, Brooke Shearer as Violinist and Mathew Button as Guitarist.
