Sugarcraft flips the super-polished modern pop aesthetic on its head with crackly old samples and an authentic sound without studio wizardry. First conceived while listening to Christina Aguilera’s Back To Basics (produced by DJ Premier) this music tries to capture something soulful that often seems to lack these days.
