Suffocated (窒息 Zhi Xi). Formed in 1997, this quartet from Beijing is one of the few bands still playing death metal from the elder Chinese death metal generation. ============ Biography 1996-1998 Formed in August 1996. In 1997 the lineup consisted of five members. In 1998, the lineup was Liu Zheng on vocals and bass, Kou Zhengyu on lead guitars, Yin Di on rhythm guitars and Guo Dapeng on drums.
