Founded in the spring of 2007, the Students of Science are an experimental breakbeat ensemble comprised of LeRoy Brown (of Research Deluxe) and Lee Ritter. The two met the previous fall when LeRoy, an accomplished DJ, producer and arranger moved from his home in Rochester, NY to work as an audio engineer at an Orlando, FL based educational media company. There he met Lee, a guitarist/multi-instrumentalist from Vermont, who was working as a guitar instructor.
