It's a five-piece set consisting of vocalist Espen Dale, Eldar Winsrygg and Tommy Thunberg on guitars, Sten Utgård playing the bass and Odd Jan Eidem on drums. The Sounds and Influences The band is heavily influenced by bands like Black Sabbath, Pantera, Down, Black Label Society, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Dream Theater, and Strapping Young Lad. Sound-wise, Strongwater has a driving groove metal sound, most obviously similar to Pantera, with heavy riffs hailing back to Black Sabbath.
