STERET is an experimental band made up of electronic sounds. They were founded in New Hope, Minnesota in 2007 by two friends, Lance & Andrew. Lance goes by the stage name caBooSe, while Andrew goes by the stage name of kOZ. When the band first came together, they recorded a couple of fun songs with keyboards while singing. Shortly after, they discovered a program called FL Studio and began to play around with it. Their first official song was released, "Never Ever Land".
