Static Charge is a Leeds band, originally formed by two members of Benton Park School in 2008, after performing one of their GCSE coursework pieces. The band’s name comes from a hilarious joke made by one of the members about the others surname. During September 2008, Gilo joined the roster as the new aspiring bassist which added the much needed instrument to the line-up.
