The Afrikaans rock group Staaldraad will be making its debut into movies as its song has been chosen as the theme tune for the new romantic comedy Karate Kallie - Die Hele Movie. The theme song for Karate Kallie - Die Hele Movie was not only performed by the group, it was written by lead vocalist John Tinke and bass player Aydhn Henry, and produced by lead guitarist Gideon Rademeyer. The band released their self titled album, "Staaldraad" in 2008 on LFM Music.
