Splat! were formed in 1981 in Long Eaton, Derbyshire: Gary de Banke (Guitar); Mark Grebby (Bass); Dave Parsons (Voice); Paul Walker (Drums). The band played extensively in the Nottingham/Derby area and were first available to the public on the BBC Radio Nottingham Cassette "The Bomb Party" - put together by DJ Mark Robson: track called Jugular Blow Job (known as JBJ on the cassette).
