In 1999 Paul Roberts released his first solo album Faith? which is also the birth of the Faithband. They started touring in 2000 and released their second studio album Self Discovery in 2001. In 2002 they asked people to promote several gigs which initiated the Peoples' Acoustic Faith Tour. In autumn 2002 the band went on the road again for the Set In Stone Tour.
