Sophia's Hanging started out in 2009 with 3 friends sharing a passion for music. Brothers, Madison (drums) and Spenser (bass) Leeds with vocalist/lyricist/guitarist Cris Villa made up the band for the year having a great time and playing several local shows in the L.A. area. In September of 2010, after building a solid repertoire of hardcore lyrics and sounds, the trio decided to bring aboard guitarist Lea Arzola, adding a fuller sound and of course their only female member.
