Sons of Malarkey is a five-piece Celtic rock band from Portland, Oregon. The band started in 2009 when singer/songwriter Josh Curll, bassist Jereb Scott, and multi-instrumentalist Jason Hohl began performing Celtic music in and around Portland. In an effort to rock out a bit, the guys asked their old friend Dave Battrick to join them on drums. Shortly thereafter, the band added Tatijanna “Don’t call it a violin” Bourke on fiddle, and veteran musician Dan Edgar on accordion, bouzouki, mandolin, and tech support.
