In the late 1990s, long term friends Richard Boxer, Stephen Smith & Peter White were regular figures on the trance and chilled clubbing scene. Usually to be found playing their african Djembes, the three were heavily influenced by their experiences at the Whirl-y-Gig and Big Chill clubs, and began to write their own tunes.
