DJ SIR AIVA (João Saraiva) can be considered the founder of the Drum’n’Bass scene in Faro and one of the movement’s main promoters in the Algarve. Born in Lisbon in 1977 and living in the Algarve since 2002, switched from being a drummer in indie rock bands into playing as a DJ in 2003. His music is influenced by many long journeys throughout the Globe and shows a surprising variety even within Drum’n’Bass.
