Silenoz (real name Sven Atle Kopperud), is a Norwegian guitarist. He is, along with Shagrath and Tjodalv, a founding member of the Norwegian black metal band Dimmu Borgir. Silenoz has been a guitarist for the band from the start. He composes most of the riffs and melodies that are a large part of the band's sound.
