Originally, the song featured Canadian singer The Weeknd and American record producer Diplo, being taken from the soundtrack for the 2013 American film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Andrew Swanson assisted the artists in writing the song, with production handled by Diplo and American producer Greg Kurstin.
