Following a brief teaser campaign, Sia dropped “The Greatest,” her first single to follow 2016’s This Is Acting. It features a guest verse from Kendrick Lamar. The song’s music video is directed by Sia and Daniel Askill, and while it features her longtime collaborator Maddie Ziegler, Kendrick’s verse is not included. Sia promoted “The Greatest” with a picture of herself and Ziegler wearing rainbow makeup, perhaps suggesting the song has a pro-LGBT message.
