Shady Characters is a Los Angeles-based indie rock band started in late 2010, when vocalist Lucia Fasano and guitarist Kyle McCormick recorded an acoustic bedroom EP and released it to the internet. By early 2011, keyboardist/multi-instrumentalist Brittany Scheffler and drummer Scott Shipman had joined, and they began prepping a full-length with producer Kasey Clark at Punk Tree Records. Within a year, Scott moved to Oklahoma, and Kasey volunteered to drum. The full-length was scaled back to an EP, Sunny Days, and it was released February 19th, 2012.
