He was the eighth member of a family of 13 children originally from the Horn Ejido, located on the outskirts of Ciudad Obregon, Sonora. As a child, he moved to the USA where he founded Los Hermanos Vegas with his brothers. After several years the band renamed to Los Rayos del Norte returned to Mexico.
