Sellorape began in Brookfield Learning Asylum in Southern England. Founded by Ekks Scremant and Soffid (both born in Scandinavia) after being brought together after an argument over the spelling of the word 'photograph' in Year R. Sellorape's early work had a very amateur and raw sound, with low production quality with no clear musical themes. Their first album 'Nostalgia at its Best' was released in 2005 after a band trip to America to gather ideas.
