Savage Beliefs were a Chicago, IL, USA-based punk band who existed from 1982 through 1984. They released one 7" EP in 1983 and also appeared on the 1984 compilation "Middle of America". The band also made a movie in 1984 but it went unreleased until the director posted the footage on YouTube in 2019. Steve Albini was such a fan that he allegedly told the members that "When I heard you were breaking up, I cried" and bassist Dave Riley ended up joining Albini's band, Big Black in 1985.
