Based in New Zealand in the 1980's, Satellite Spies made a name for themselves through their popular singles "Destiny in Motion", "Wish I'd Asked that Girl to Dance" and "Hold on to the Night" - which were written by singer / bass player Mark Loveys and featured on their album "Destiny in Motion". In 1986 they supported Dire Straits on their "Brothers in Arms" concert tour of New Zealand.
