According to Samia, the song is about her experience hiding away at a stranger’s house in Texas, staring at the moon from the pool realizing this feeling won’t last forever and trying to find beauty from fear. The intro to the track features a voice message from Samia’s grandmother, who passed away prior to the release of the album, singing to her in Arabic.
