SCYCS was a five-member German rock band from Magdeburg whose style evolved from punk roots to energetic, melodic pop rock. Founded in 1993, the band underwent several lineup changes before winning second place at the F6 Music Award, a major East German newcomer competition, in 1997. In November of the same year they produced their single "Next November", which became a breakthrough hit.
