The roots of Room111 were formed in the late 90's under the name "eye" in a german town called Worms. After several changes in the bands' lineup, Room111 as it exist's today, was founded in 2001. The intention was (and still is) to make music that builds a contrast to other bands and to combine different styles. Nevertheless the base-sound of Room111, is hard an rough. Even though, they have managed to find their own style, influences of different bands can be heard, as for example: SOAD , Deftones or Katatonia. Momentaniously Room111 is working on a Promo CD.
