Rob Gallagher is a former member of the 'Acid Jazz' band, Galliano, which formed around his early DJ performances in 1988. Galliano were based in London. The band were signed by Giles Peterson's Talkin' Loud label and released music up until 1997. Throughout the early 1990s Galliano turned their attention to a more laid-back jazz-soul musical style whilst often addressing environmental issues in their lyrics.
