Rise Robots Rise is an experimental hip-hop project of the early nineties, integrating elements of soul, techno and jazz along with spoken/sung lyrics. Apparently out of Brooklyn NY, they originally released albums on the TVT label. Although the albums don't list any band members, the core of the band appears to be Joe Mendelson and Ben Nitze, as most of the tracks are listed as written by the two of them.
