Formed in 2009, the band is comprised of Sean O'Malley (on bass guitar and vocals), Robert (Thelovemuscle) Russell (on lead guitar and vocals), and Jacob S. Kuhn (on drums and backing vocals). Their influences range from The Flying Burrito Brothers Band to Girl Talk to Derek and The Dominos to George Clinton & the P-Funk All-stars, so it is clear that no label will ever do the necessary justice of summing up the sound of Riders of the Storm.
