Retic was formed in 1973 (Indianapolis, USA) by a chance encounter and subsequent love-spawning of both his parents. The result was a fully-formed being (Douglas Teike) who began to show interest in all things musical from a very early age. Early compositions committed to cassette tape were rhythmic in nature and it was soon apparent that drums and percussion were his major fascination.
