Requiem of Torment (or R.O.T) were a mathcore band from Stoke-on-Trent, England that existed from 2017 to 2018. They were inspired by the likes of Gaza and Cult Leader. They had a small run of local gigs and released one EP, one LP, and a live album. Their run was cut short due to the guitarist (FKA Jessie Seaton), the synth player (Cai Brown), and the drummer (Dave Basnett) kicking out their vocalist (Callum Cooper) who was at odds with the band due to his right-wing politics and anti-trans rhetoric that went against the bands core values.
