The collective has been initiated in late 2001 on the Royal Academy of Visual Arts in The Hague by the Image And Sound students. The coaches were Robert Pravda and Stefan Brys, both graduated from the Image And Sound department. At the beginning, the first 15/16 people attending the sessions were the students of the department itself, including some students from other departments and academies as well.
