One of the earliest hip-hop groups to come out of Houston, Texas consisting of K-Rino, Preppy Jay and G.T.. The group members met at Sterling High School and formed the group around 1985-1986. Managed by Larry Vaughn (father of group member K-Rino) and Mark Gregg, Real Chill hooked up with funk/soul producer Norvell Holmes to release the single "Rockin' It" around in 1986 on the local Boom-town Stars record label.
