Ray Stephens (1954-1990) was a U.S. singer and actor. Born on the 14th December 1954, he starred in the 1980s television series, The Great Space Coaster, as the character Roy. In 1985, Stephens became the lead singer of [artist[The Village People, but his only recording with the group was their album, Sex over the Phone. Stephens is heard singing the tune "Cat's Eye" during the closing credits of the 1985 Stephen King film of the same name. Stephens died at the age of thirty-five on the 4th October 1990, his death related to a drug habit.
