ROSSO was a Japanese rock band formed in 2001 by Chiba Yusuke, Terui Toshiyuki and MASATO. They started recording their first album, BIRD, in February 2002. The album was released in April of the same year, and after touring the country to support it, ROSSO went on a break. Chiba Yusuke went back to focus on thee michelle gun elephant, but when this band broke up in 2003, ROSSO was reformed with a revised lineup.
