Pure Dream Ladder was born and bred in New York City in 1996. Singer-songwriter Chris Mezera started the band initially with some college friends and when the band started to get some attention from the music industry, the band became serious and was reformed. Guitarist Matt Boas joined the band in 2001 and helped to shape Pure Dream Ladder's unique sound.
