Pudge was formed in Stockbridge, WI by three brothers in 1996. They were heavily influenced by Grunge, Moldy Oldies, and Classic Rock. Together, they abused their hearing in their parents basement practicing for hours a day. July 1996 they entered Butch Vig's Smart Studios in Madison to record their first E.P. Pudge continued to hone their live skills while pushing promotion for their debut E.P. 1999 saw the release of their first album (Pudge).
