Posttherapy start in Bandung 1998 with two members band, Bodink and Agung. Their music sound like R.E.M, Manic Street Preachers and U2. A year later Posttherapy release an EP under an indie label, Otomato Records. In 1999 Posttherapy joined major label Sony Music Indonesia and where they released their debut album F.I.L.E which spawned hit single TAMAN. And the band won in VMI for the best Video clip TAMAN.
