Formed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1980, Plasticland were one of the first of the so-called neo-psychedelic bands. Emerging from the Krautrock-inspired Arousing Polaris, Plasticland were based around John Frankovic (bass) and Glenn Rehse (guitar, vocals, organ). They played, and occasionally still play, a lyrically whimsical brand of psychedelia inspired by British psychedelia of the late 1960s ('S.F.
