Plastic Yank are an alt-folk indie rock band fronted by Jeremy Hainsworth with British Dave Hartup on drums, Vinnie Ison on keyboards and Andy Gill playing bass. In the early part of 2005 Jeremy, Andy, and Dave lived in Chorleywood and knew each other as friends when they realized they had the makings of a band and formed under the alias The Weather. Some songs were written, recorded and performed. Those who were in on the secret liked what they heard. A year later they added Vinnie on keyboard and became Plastic Yank. Since then they have played numerous shows in and around London.
