Plasmodesmata is the bastard-brainchild of Jeremy Christensen. His influences and styles range from full-on backwoods hillbilly hoe-down and folk to Heavy Metal and Dance Funk. With the exception of programmed drum tracks on some songs, everything you hear is played on an actual instrument by Jeremy. Occasionally, some vocals (both intentional and incidental) heard in some tracks are the work of Jeremy's two young children.
