Phoenix Effect is a finnish rock band formed in Helsinki, Finland in 2007 by the former guitarist of Sunrise Avenue, Janne Kärkkäinen. The band is signed to Poets of the Fall's label, Insomniac, through which they released two albums (Cyanide Skies, 2009 and Phoenix Effect, 2010) and one EP (A Light to Guide, 2010) to date.
