PHIVE MICS aka Byron Bradley is set to release "The Rap Prescription"; his 1st Mix Tape with his debut album soon behind. Much to the excitement of his already sizeable army of fans, Mics is looking to reach as many ears as the world has to listen! With the following plans to drop of his 1st Album - Rx- Independently Released; the lyrically talented, word play sound that he has made his own, is certain to gain interest from across the country.
The development of Phive MICS unique style is the result of a lifetime of musical influence. As his confidence grew and his style developed, he soon saw his fan base beginning to grow in the streets of Louisiana.
His many talents consist of writing R&B, pop, rock, reggae, and of course hip-hop.
Growing up in New Orleans then venturing off to Atlanta, GA. within the past 4 years has allowed room for many musical influences. Mics quick tongue-style shows him capable of chopping with the best of them!
After realizing that writing/publishing his own music was his main goal, he began to showcase his talent in various venues across Louisiana, performing at numerous gigs and making sure that his name and music were being heard by as many people as possible. He hopes to be quickly noted for his unique style and versatility brought to the world of hip-hop Artists and strives to continue his dream of spreading his Talent by co-writing & creating ballads for other Artist.
Phive Mics musical ambitions have continued to grow, aided by the sounds of local and near-by Texas Artists- "a collalition of lyrical kings", located right here in the SOUTH. Phive Mics put in countless hours in the studio, being influenced by the late great Pac, and current talents and moguls of Kanye and Jay-Z; however, he would certainly include Soulja Slim, Jay Z, Biggie Smalls, The Hotboys and UGK as additional influences of his music…..With all of these forefathers, Growth for any Talented mind has only one room for movement…..

Finally, after honing his unique sound over recent years, preparation to release his debut album, ‘Rx", underlies the changes that Mics has gone through over recent years. The biggest of these was the constant relocation from Louisiana to Atlanta. Mics had to remove himself from his click in ATL to settle in Louisiana.
This closed a few networks of opportunities and connections with potential producers who nurtured his talent, allowing him to develop as a person.
But in late 2009, a new Indie Label showed proof to be just the nurturing family environment needed to pick up as if nothing ever changed.
CEO/MCS Management Owner Penny Murray saw an opportunity to develop a new gift… and this has profoundly aided MICS musical development.
Other changes that have affected and influenced his song-writing over recent years have been his development of ballad writing, an area that he pays a lot of attention to and incorporates 100% in his music, employing everyday life and what gets the club jumping to add an extra dimension to some of his songs.
In the upcoming "Rx"- The songs provide a combination of variations that grab all different types of listeners…with a rhythmic undercurrent that bears testament to his hard work and dedication, shows clear punctuation throughout with elements of reggae, hip-hop, rock, pop and R&B.
Mics online buzz and internet explosion, mixed with his alliance to SupaUnit roster of Artist is due to be increasing relentlessly, fans will be able to show love in many venues across the U.S.A. We feel that the streets are ready to build an appreciation for his sound and talent, and his loyal army of fans spread far and wide across the globe eagerly waiting for their first chance to listen to the completed Mix Tape and Album.
