Philtron was founded in 1995 by Sven, Janne and Rico. Started up as a synth-pop band in Hamburg/Germany. They soon managed to become the first band to be signed on Project Pitchfork's own new label Candyland Entertainment, where they released their first EP "NO PROMISES" in 1996.
