Peter Rubin, born Peter Kohlhuber (* 5 May 1942 in Mährisch-Ostrau, Reichsgau Sudetenland, today Czech Republic), is a German singer, presenter, songwriter, and guitarist. Rubin completed a commercial apprenticeship after finishing school. He then studied economics at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. In the 1960s, he founded the band Pemagos with friends.
