Pastor López (José Pastor López, Barquisimeto, Venezuela, June 15, 1944 - April 5, 2019) was a Venezuelan
cumbia singer and songwriter. López, also known as "El Indio Pastor" (Pastor, The Indian), started out singing the Joropo musical style in a group with his brothers, but didn't gain more widespread notoriety until joining forces with fellow musician Nelson Henríquez.
