Orphan Tunes was born of a South African couple whom were of Indian Descent but had immigrated to Australia in the 1970's during appartheid. He was born and raised in Central QLD, tertiary educated in Brisbane. Orphan Tunes has always been involved in music from a young age, learning piano and violin without ever reading music, he was first taught by a nun!
