Born on 10 May 1975 in the Paris region, Olivier Delafosse learned to play the piano as a child. At the age of 14, he began to compose songs that he played in a band of high school students. He went on to study musicology, became a teacher in college after that. After relocating to Paris, Oldelaf joined the band Les Petits Humains ('The Little Humans') in 1997.
