O.R.D.U.C. (One-o-seventh Royal Dutch Underground Company) was founded in 1971. At first O.R.D.U.C. was a band wich wanted to play a mixture of Frank Zappa’s and Pink Floyd’s music from the late sixties. But after the initial members had left, the founder turned it into a project for experimental music. Gradually the music chanced to minimal-pop. In 1980 O.R.D.U.C. recorded the track “Crazy Computer”, the first release on vinyl. A half year later, may 1981, the LP “Pink & Purple” was released.
