20 year old Nykita is a natural born performer coming from a large, musical Liberian family. Moving to the USA when she was very young. Her love and appreciation for music grew as she was introduced to artists who would soon become some of her largest influences including Anita Baker and Lauryn Hill. In 1994, Nykita and her family returned to Liberia where she was exposed to the musical culture of her country which inspired her performances on stage even at such a young age.
