Byl pozdní večer - první máj… Nedá mi, než nevzpomenout na úvodní verš Máchovy slavné básně - právě v souvislosti s tak prozaickou skutečností, jako bylo založení kapely NOTOREST To se datuje k 1. květnu roku 1995. Jejími zakladateli byli: Mara Procházka - kytara, zpěv Martin Kosťa Kostrunek - kytara Ludina Šmudla - baskytara Radek Slováček - bicí nástroje Kapela v tomto složení zkoušela ve sklepní zkušebně u Slováčků a to od počátku - až do 21. srpna 1997.
